The resurrection of Jesus is the foundational event of the Christian faith. All that we believe and know to be true about Jesus is because of the resurrection. But the Christian faith doesn't end with the resurrection. Jesus told his followers that his death and resurrection was the starting line, not the finish line. It was the beginning of what he was starting—a new family, a new movement, a new way of life.
